NDIS & funding

Which funding pathway is yours?

Most people who come to us are funded one of four ways. Follow the one that fits — and if none of them obviously does, request a callback and we’ll work it out with you before you book anything.

The four funding pathways

Start here

Four ways people come to us. All four end in the same first appointment.

  • NDIS

We’re a registered NDIS provider (to July 2029) working with plan-managed, self-managed and NDIA-managed participants. Exercise physiology usually sits under Capacity Building — Improved Health and Wellbeing. Bring your plan or your plan manager’s details and we’ll handle the paperwork side. No GP referral needed.

  • Medicare

A chronic disease management plan from your GP provides Medicare rebates for a set number of allied health sessions each calendar year. Ask your GP whether you’re eligible — we can send them the assessment and reports they need.

  • DVA & workers comp

Both accepted for eligible clients, including return-to-work programs. A GP referral is required; we’ll liaise with your case manager.

  • Self-referral

Welcome any time. Request a callback and we will book your assessment. Pay per session, no referral and no lock-in.

Not sure which one applies? Request a callback, tell us your situation, and we will work it out with you before anything is booked.

Private health funds

Many funds cover exercise physiology under extras.

Cover varies by policy — check yours for the item numbers, and we can confirm what a session will be billed as before you book.
